Upcoming Event: Youth Partnership Event to Connect Young Talent and Local Businesses
The Island Careers Partnership is proud to support the upcoming Youth Partnership Event, an inspiring evening designed to bring together Isle of Wight businesses and young people to explore future opportunities.
Taking place on Tuesday 1st July 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Quay Arts, Newport, the event invites local employers to connect with passionate, skilled young people in a dynamic ‘reverse careers fair’ format—where young people take the lead in showcasing their talents and ambitions.
This innovative event has been co-developed by the IOW Youth Trust, Solent Careers Hub, and DWP, and reflects a shared commitment to helping young people thrive while supporting the Island’s economic growth.
With a strong focus on micro and small businesses, the evening aims to build meaningful connections—not as a recruitment event, but as a space to exchange ideas, experiences, and possibilities for the future.
Island Careers Partnership fully supports initiatives like this that empower young people and foster stronger employer engagement across the Island.
