Construction Roadshow for Girls

The Construction Roadshow will take place at The Bay Secondary School, with other secondary schools from across the Isle of Wight invited to attend. Each school is encouraged to bring up to 15 female students to take part in the event.

The roadshow aims to inspire and inform young girls about the diverse opportunities available within the construction and built environment sector. Through hands-on, practical activities and engagement with industry employers, students will gain a real insight into the wide range of careers available in construction.

By bringing employers and students together in an interactive setting, the event will showcase modern skills, highlight real career pathways, and help address the industry skills gap in a sector that continues to be heavily male dominated.
